To be honest, this is probably the only non-cannon yaoi that I think is based in truth. Those two clearly have some homosexual issues that they need to work out- and who better with than each other? I feel so wrong for saying that, but fuck it, it's true.

well i mean the only person that squall has ever felt a noticeable amount of passion for was seifer. that passion was usually hatred but even hatred was a surprisingly deep emotion coming from the emotionless squall, ya know?

You also have this to consider:

The only female that he ever showed ANY romantic interest in- Was Seifer's sloppy seconds. Now if that doesn't point toward deep seeded homosexual envy, I don't know what does. There's also no denying that any man who would refuse Quistis, a 19 year old teacher with a whip and her own diciplinary room, is straight. Just not happening.
